Director of Development | Compassion Animal Project

Jennifer brings with her a life-long passion for improving communities through volunteerism and fundraising. To better her value to the organizations doing this hard work, she obtained a Master of Public Administration from Ohio University with concentrations in nonprofit management and leadership and is currently seeking her CFRE certification. Jennifer enthusiastically believes in the power of working together. That’s why she started volunteering with Compassion Animal Project in January 2022 before joining the staff in November of the same year as the Director of Development.

For over 16 years, she has engaged with dozens of nonprofit organizations in areas of food insecurity, mental health, addiction recovery, homelessness, environmental protection, and many more. Today, you might find her providing emotional support as a counselor with Crisis Text Line or biking to raise money for cancer research in her spare time.
