Ben Bergon

Ben is the Senior Technical Accounting and Internal Controls Manager at Chobani, based out of their Soho headquarters in Manhattan. He received his Bachelor’s in Accounting from Binghamton University and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of New York. He has spent the last 2+ years developing Chobani's SOX program, addressing complex accounting matters, and working on their S1/IPO filing which became public in November 2021. Prior to Chobani, he spent 5 years working in KPMG's audit practice serving various clients within their Financial Services practice.

 

In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities at Chobani- he co-chairs their LGBTQ+ & Allies Employee Resource Group and served as a formal mentor for Chobani's D&I internship program and for Tent's LGBTQ+ Refugee program. Ben is passionate about working on initiatives involving motivating, engaging, and developing employees. He recently obtained a Training Certificate from the Association of Talent Development.

 

When he is not pursuing his professional passions, you can typically find him at the gym, a concert, a nature trail, or a Mets game.
