Dr. Bob Murtaugh

Dr. Bob Murtaugh is currently a Partner and Chief Professional Relations Officer with Thrive Pet Healthcare out of Austin Texas.  Prior to joining Thrive in 2015 as Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Murtaugh had practiced and taught specialty medicine from coast to coast over a 35 year period that included stints in Boston, Portland (OR) and Los Angeles involving professional activities in academia, the nonprofit sector, private practice and corporate veterinary medicine. 

 

Dr. Murtaugh has been involved in many facets of organized veterinary and community activities fostering the human-animal bond and animal welfare throughout his career.
